Everyone needs family, friends and all those special angels who come to our aid when we need them the most. Here's your chance to give these amazing people the recognition and appreciation they deserve.  Bring them into the WWGN community by adding a post detailing who they are and what they mean to you.

A wonderful couple Christine and Bill Ferdinand began Operation Bling a few years ago. They own the jewelry store Ferdinand Jewelers on South St. in New Providence.
When I was at Overlook Hospital with a 103 fever, feeling depressed and rather ugly, a lovely woman came into my room with a briefcase and asked me if I would like to chose a present - a piece of sparkling jewelry I chose a lovely pin, which really brightened my day.
The Ferdinands have fundraisers to purchase jewelry to present to cancer patients in 13 hospitals. I had a "Bling" party at my house recently, and my friends loved the jewelry for themselves and for gifts. They also pray every day for cancer patients. They are a wonderful, selfless, hardworking couple.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Christine and Bill Ferdinand, but I have also been touched by their wonderful gift of "bling."  In fact, I wrote a blog post about my experience and the very real meaning my beautiful ring symbolizes to me.  Maybe I should start a forum section about them so we can share our "bling" stories.  What do you think?  You can check out my blog post at http://www.wherewegonow.com/content/fake-diamond-ring-very-real-meaning-1

Sharing "bling" stories is an excellent idea.

Thanks for the feedback.  The forum is set up!  Please take a look and feel free to copy your story from this list, over to the forum.  Also, if you have any friends with stories of their own, I'd love to have them join the discussion.  Thanks again!
