Learn how just a few moments of introspection and honest evaluation can begin to loosen cancer’s grip on your emotional wellbeing.

When you finally come up for air after enduring cancer treatments, it’s time to face the cold reality of “doing the work.” I talk about how to work through your cancer experience by learning to ask for help, finding support services, and building your community. When you have the courage to take control of your survivorship by being honest, healing and growth will occur. It’s the work we all eventually have to do, because survival is much more than existence.
Wrestling Back Control of Your Body.
When cancer ravages your body, it’s a real struggle to deal with all of the ensuing body image issues. Exploring this sensitive area, I share my own struggles and relate the many ways to lessen the pain of what has been lost. Areas of discussion include physical therapy, rehabilitative exercise, massage, mind-body practices, and lifestyle and diet changes you can make right now. Be it yoga, Pilates, rock climbing, dance or whatever makes your heart beat faster, learn how to jump right in and take back control of your body.
